All Active Patrolling and Nipper Water Safety with SRC will need to complete the 2023/2024 Skills Maintenance theory online BEFORE attending the Proficiency and before the 31 December.
For AWARD only holders there is no theory – just the practical components associated with your award.

Requirements before Attending Skills Maintenance:

  1.  Be a financial member for the 2023 to 2024 season
  2.  Complete the theory component online via your members portal (under elearning)
Hint: Best to watch video, do rescue & first aid scenarios before theory questions.
Hint 2: The question on recoil mechanism on IRB – is referring to the motors idle position – not the starter cord
Read these bulletins before doing theory.
