Lifesaving is something for the whole family to get involved in and there are many supporting roles that you, as a parent, can do.

If you are doing the Nipper Preliminary Pool Evaluation outside the Nipper Sign on days – you will need this form AND a photocopy of the swim coach’s accreditation. Junior Preliminary Pool Evaluation Form
AGE MANAGERS – all your age guides and games manuals and forms are now on your portal.

Bilinga Youth are those Active Members Aged between 14 and 17 years.
Over the Season a variety of supervised activities are organised eg: Pizza Nights, Bowling, Twilight Cricket, Halloween, Wiisport challenges etc.
Make sure the Youth Officer has your email address or request for facebook or instagram so that you don’t miss out.
Bilinga Youth are also members of the Point Danger Branch Youth Group which also has various Activities over the season including TeamXtreme.
Youth Development Program – Expression of Interest
(EOI close 13 September 2019)
South Coast Branch and Point Danger Branch are looking at a new development program opportunity for youth members.
The Gold Coast Youth Development Program provides an opportunity for youth members to learn and develop several skills that will enhance their
strengths within the Surf Life Saving community.
When: Holiday Program – Monday January 6 – Friday January 10, 2020
(9:00am – 4:00pm each day)
What: The program is designed to develop participants Surf Life Saving skills, leadership, fitness & motivation, personal development, problem solving, teamwork and introduce them to pathways through lifesaving.
Where: Gold Coast Surf Life Saving Clubs.
The program is designed to give participants the chance to experience a range of Gold Coast Clubs by starting the program down at Point Danger Branch Clubs and working through to finishing the program at South Coast Branch clubs.
Participants- Must be within the U14-U15 age groups as of the 2019/20 season (i.e. must be 13 or 14 years of age as at 30 September 2019)
Leadership Group– Must be 18+ at the time of the program and Hold a valid
‘Working with Children’ Blue Card or Exemption Notice
