Start of Season will be 22 September 2018 (to coincide with the school holidays commencing 22.09.2018)
Extended Hours will commence on 15 December 2018 (to coincide with school holidays commencing on 15.12.2018). This should run to Monday 28th January 2019 ( incorporating the Australia Day Public Holiday)
Public Holidays that you need to account for in your rostering (** fall within the extended hours period)
01st October 2018 – Queens Birthday
25th December 2018 – Christmas Day**

CLARIFICATION OF SURVEILLANCE RESPONSIBILITIES.
To clarify the surveillance requirement the following procedure are to be adopted:
- At the end of a designated patrol time (4.00pm) the patrol flags are to be removed with all other equipment from the beach. The allocated and appropriate surveillance patrol members from (4.00pm to 4.30pm) are to monitor and observe the public whilst in the water/beach at a accessible location with a board, tube and radio to respond to an incident.
- When surveillance is designated at the start of patrol (8.30am to 9.00am) the allocated and appropriate surveillance patrol members from (8.30am to 9.00am) are to monitor and observe the public whilst in the water/beach at an accessible location with a board, tube and radio to respond to an incident. The patrol flags/patrol area are to raised at the designated commencement time – 9.00am.
