Dear Bilinga Members We invite you to our upcoming Nipper AGM on Sunday, March 23rd, at 9 am, at Bilinga SLSC. This meeting is a great opportunity for you to get involved with our Nipper Committee for the 2025/2026 season. There are a variety of roles available that are essential to keeping Nippers running smoothly every Sunday. We encourage all families to participate and contribute in any way they can. Whether you’re interested in being on the Nipper committee, working with an age group, or logistics. Positions up for nominations that must hold the relevant award include; Director of Junior Activities Junior Activities Secretary Chief Water Safety Officer Age Manager (number of AM will be determined by Nipper’s enrolments) Supporting roles I would love to have filled; Deputy Director of Junior Activities Junior Treasurer Education Officer Carnival Nomination Officer Clothing coordinator Team Manager Gear Steward Publicity Officer BBQ Coordinator Board Coach (will need to be willing to gain the relevant SLSQ award) Beach Coach (will need to be willing to gain the relevant SLSQ award) If you are interested in joining the committee or would like to nominate yourself for a specific position, please submit your nomination in writing (see attached form) along with your preferred age group (if you wish to be an age manager) by close of business on Friday, March 21st to secretary@bilingaslsc.com.
Please note that attendees at the AGM on March 23rd who wish to vote on positions for the upcoming season must be financial members for the current 2024/2025 season. Additionally, all nominations for committee positions for the upcoming season must come from financial members who are also willing to hold the relevant award by June 21st, 2025.
