why be part of our community?

BEYOND THE BEACH

You can participate in competitions, attend training sessions, and even take on leadership roles within the club. These experiences not only enhance your lifesaving skills but also foster personal and professional growth.

You don’t need to get into the water! While surf lifesaving often involves water rescues, many roles don’t require you to get in the water. You can be an observer, provide first aid, or support training sessions.

PATROL WITH FAMILY

A place for everyone! Whether you’re a young child, a teenager, a parent, or even a grandparent, there’s a place for you in our community.

It’s a wholesome, family-oriented environment where you can spend quality time together and meet new people who share your interests.

You can be an observer, provide first aid, or support training sessions.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Every role in lifesaving is crucial, and your involvement will make a tangible difference in the lives of others.

Whether you’re offering first aid support, keeping an eye out for potential hazards, or mentoring new members, your contributions will directly impact the safety and well-being of our beachgoers and the broader community.

we need you!

Whether you’re delivering first aid, patrolling the beach, or guiding the next generation of lifesavers, every role plays a vital part in keeping our communities safe.

You don’t need to be a patrol member to make an impact — if you’ve got time, skills, or just a willingness to help, there’s always a place for you in the red and yellow family.
