To Our Dedicated Club Members and Community Members.

Good morning/afternoon,

I hope everyone had a great week and all is well.

Just a reminder our Club is still CLOSED to all members and access to any craft, or any area of the club is not permitted as directed by SLSQ. All surf lifesaving activities are still suspended.

During the week I have had conversations with SLSQ regarding the Qld Government Roadmap with the three stages for easing the lockdown restrictions. At present SLSQ are formulating various template plans – hygiene, COVID-19 Risk Management, COVID-19 Management Plans and Check Lists for Surf Clubs in Qld. The organisation is working very hard to address the stages and the landscape is changing constantly.

As a Club there are many things we must do before the doors are again opened for you to enjoy your club as a member and for our club to hold functions. I appreciate your cooperation and patience but as a Club and a Community must have to get this right. I can ensure how we did things in Pre-COVID- 19 will be totally different in Post-COVID-19.

This Saturday 16/5/20 your Management Committee will be having a virtual meeting to discuss the AGM on the 20/6/20, the COVID-19 plans and other matters

Have a great weekend, stay safe and enjoy the off-season.
